The AI-DAPT project is pleased to announce its participation in the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2026, taking place on 30 September – 1 October 2026 in Galway, Ireland.
Organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), EBDVF 2026 brings together industry professionals, researchers, business developers, policymakers and other stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to discuss the future of Data and AI. This year’s forum focuses on “Building Europe’s AI and Data Backbone: Strategy, Investment and Impact”, providing an important platform for discussing how European research and innovation can translate into scalable technologies and real-world impact.

AI-Ready Data and Trustworthy Pipelines for Europe’s Next Wave of Industrial AI

The session will address one of the key challenges facing the European AI ecosystem: how to move beyond isolated AI pilots and develop scalable, reusable and trustworthy AI operations.
While Europe has strong research capabilities and an increasing number of initiatives focused on efficient and trustworthy AI, organisations still face significant challenges when moving from experimentation to operational deployment. Data, tools and infrastructures can remain fragmented across organisations, sectors and stages of the AI lifecycle, while processes for preparing data, developing models, validating results, deploying solutions and monitoring performance are often disconnected.
AI-DAPT will use the session to explore how these challenges can be addressed through an integrated approach that connects AI-ready data with trustworthy AI operations.
From AI-Ready Data to Trustworthy AI Operations
The session will present the AI-DAPT approach to data preparation and AI pipeline orchestration, with particular emphasis on the role of human oversight throughout the process.
The programme will include short presentations covering:
- The AI-DAPT solution and its integrated platform approach;
- AI-DAPT’s Human-in-the-Loop strategy;
- The project’s Health Pilot and lessons learned from applying AI pipeline technologies in a real-world healthcare context.
The Health Pilot will provide an opportunity to move the discussion beyond theoretical architectures and demonstrate how AI-DAPT technologies can be applied to real operational challenges, where heterogeneous data, domain expertise, human decision-making and evolving requirements all need to be considered together.
The session will then move into a dedicated panel discussion: “From AI-Ready Data to Trustworthy AI Operations”
The 30-minute panel will bring together representatives from AI-DAPT and sister projects funded under the HORIZON-CL4-2023-HUMAN-01-01 topic, including MANOLO, PANDORA, TURING, RAIDO and EXTRA-BRAIN.
The discussion will explore how European projects can move beyond individual models and experimental pilots towards interoperable, scalable and reusable AI solutions.
Among the questions to be addressed are:
- How aligned are the approaches being developed across European projects, and how can interoperability between solutions be strengthened?
- How can data quality, model performance and trustworthiness be maintained throughout the AI lifecycle?
- What role should human oversight play in the development and operation of AI systems?
- Which technical and organisational barriers continue to prevent AI solutions from being adopted at scale?
- How can research results be translated into operational capabilities that deliver measurable value?
The discussion will therefore connect different perspectives from European research and innovation initiatives while exploring practical pathways towards more mature AI deployment.
Bringing Together the European AI Ecosystem
The session is aimed at a broad audience including European research and innovation projects, industry, research and technology organisations, data spaces, AI Factories, Testing and Experimentation Facilities, Digital Innovation Hubs, policymakers, and organisations developing or adopting data-driven AI solutions.
By bringing these communities together, AI-DAPT aims to contribute to a wider conversation on how Europe can build the technical and organisational foundations required for trustworthy AI deployment.
The session also reflects AI-DAPT’s broader objective of connecting data-centric AI, pipeline orchestration, human oversight, hybrid intelligence, observability and lifecycle management into an integrated approach for real-world AI systems.
