Exploring the Future of Efficient, Trustworthy AI with AI-DAPT at ADRF24!
The transformative power of AI continues to reshape our world, and at AI-DAPT, we’re dedicated to advancing AI systems that are efficient, transparent, and trustworthy. We’re thrilled to announce our participation in ADRF24, the annual AI, Data, and Robotics Forum organized by Adra and the European Commission, where we’ll be co-hosting an insightful workshop with our sister projects—EXTRA-BRAIN, MANOLO, PANDORA, and RAIDO.
On November 4th-5th, 2024, AI-DAPT and its partners will gather with industry experts, academics, and policymakers to discuss the critical elements needed to optimize AI within the cloud-edge continuum (CEC). This collaboration is set to address the pressing needs and challenges surrounding the development of AI systems that are both effective and trusted.
Our workshop’s focus is clear:
- Raising Awareness: Highlighting the vital role that the cloud-edge continuum can play in enhancing AI systems.
- Improving Efficiency: Addressing challenges and strategies to improve the efficiency of AI, while factoring in the environmental impact.
- Ensuring Trustworthiness: Tackling the technical aspects necessary to guarantee trustworthiness, covering essential topics like data quality, monitoring, and benchmarking.
The workshop will feature key presentations from project coordinators and legal experts, along with engaging polls and Q&A sessions designed to gather insights and foster dialogue.

- Data Quality and Monitoring: What are the practical challenges and solutions to achieving high-quality data and continuous monitoring in CEC environments?
- Explainable and Self-Adaptive AI: How can we ensure that AI systems are transparent, trustworthy, and capable of adapting on the fly to evolving conditions?
- Environmental Impact: How do we reconcile the pursuit of efficiency with the need for sustainable, eco-conscious AI?
